I have been considering buying a home in Barrington but now am not sure. In addition to all the concerns, there is also a noise factor which could be significant with so many trains a day (and night?).

its probably more like 30 trains a day @8 minutes each — the only one who could stop it is Melisa Bean; but she gets most of her campaign funds not from her district (us) but from chicago (the major benificiary of this deal)

Nice post on the subject and thanks for sharing and promoting the concerns of Barrington area residents. 5 trains a day is tolerable, 15 a day is unacceptable.
